I’ve just returned to the states, and will be catching up on the stories from the trip over the next several weeks. While I intended on updating daily, the whirlwind schedule never provided enough time. And I’d rather give you better writing and photos than faster entries. While the events described in the blog are current, the scale of time in the middle east is long, so a few weeks delay in the context of 4ooo years plus history is not important. More to come, including The Galellee, more Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, the sports, and a side trip to Zfad. Stick around!

Marc,
Glad to hear you & Judi returned home safe & sound. I just spent a lot of time (with pleasure) returning to your site and reading all that I haven’t had time to read since my last web visit, due to having company at the Cape (incldg. 2 wks. with our grandchildren (which happily tired us out). The pictures are outstanding! Your writing is marvelous! I love reading about the history and seeing the sights… makes me wish I had been there too. I kept going back to just gaze at many of the pictures, in awe of what Israel represents, not only its past but present. Thank you for the opportunity. Hope to see you & Judi soon.
